By Robb Zbierski
Bought this bike as a 3rd birthday gift for my son, and bought the matching girl's version for his twin sister. Hence the copied reviews on that product as well. I was somewhat skeptical about it as I spent 15 years in the bicycle business, telling people to avoid buying mass market bikes. I can now say I will confidently tell people they don't need to feel like they need to buy bike shop bikes at this level.
Having built hundreds of 12" kids' bikes over the years, I can honestly say this one went together easier than any $100+ kids' bike I have assembled. I had it put together in roughly 8 minutes and my daughter was riding and loving it soon thereafter. The handlebar pad is a nice touch.
A few notes to be aware of:
You will want to grease the stem and seat post and pedal spindles. This will help if/when you need to make adjustments as they grow.
The training wheels are included but not top-quality (to be expected) you may want to upgrade to a $20 pair from a shop or store with more robust wheels.
Graphics are decent, they are stickers, not transfer decals so you might need to smooth out some edges so they last longer.
Tires are inflated, but you will need to top them off.
Overall, I am more than impressed with this bike and my purchase.
Pros:
Easy to assemble (I did it with one crescent wrench)
Looks great
Adequate packaging to protect it in shipping but not so much that you have trash everywhere when finished
Cons:
Training wheels are not top-quality, but absolutely get the job done.

This is the perfect first bike for my 3 1/2 year old son. It arrived quickly and was easy to assemble (even with young son "helping"..."no, no that's where the seat goes buddy not the handlebars".

My son loves this bike. It has heavy treaded wheels that grip the road solid. I loved it bc it was easy to assemble.
